Welcome.

Jessica Hamm
Nearly a year ago when we first began discussing plans for Forte Madison, I was smitten with the idea of creating a platform to connect the area's young professionals. However seductive that idea was, a question kept nagging at the back of my mind: Was there even a community of young professionals to connect with?

Of course many of you are actively involved in the city and would be quick to answer with a resounding "Yes!" But, I wasn't quite convinced. Yet.

I recently graduated from the UW, where I had obviously developed a community within the university. Once the diploma was passed to me and that network began to unceremoniously collapse, I felt isolated and disconnected from the city. As I readjusted to the area as a young professional rather than a student, I learned to embrace new opportunities and networks in Madison.

And you're right. I've found an intensely enthusiastic community here with an optimistic, entrepreneurial spirit that I'm eager to explore along with you through ForteMadison.com.
